Pupurangi Hire & Tour is conveniently located on the eastern side of the Victoria Bridge, Whangarei Town Basin, beside the bridge on Jetty 1. It’s a comfortable walk from the western side of the marina where there are numerous restaurants, cafes, gift stores and chandlery which is part of the internationally acclaimed marina, hidden in the upper reaches of the Whangarei Harbour.

The Town Basin is the and the last stretch of water that can be navigated by motor boat or yacht, which is known as the Hatea River, before the river makes its way up to Mair Park and then up the shallow streams that make their way to Pukenui Falls at A.H Reed Park and Whangarei Falls.
